Meet Tanner.

My name is Tanner, and I'm the owner of East River Homes and Post Frame. My journey in construction started in high school, when I began working in landscaping. From there, I moved into post-frame construction as a laborer, where I developed my skills and passion for the building industry.

In 2024, I graduated from Mitchell Technical College's Architectural Design and Building Trades program. Shortly after graduating, I accepted a foreman position in Brookings, where I spent just under two years gaining valuable hands-on experience and leading construction projects. Eventually, I decided it was time to move back to my hometown and take the next step by starting my own business.

With East River Homes and Post Frame, my goal is to put my experience to work, take pride in every project, and build something that lasts. I believe in hard work, quality craftsmanship, and treating every project as if it were my own.

Outside of work, I enjoy just about anything outdoors, especially fishing. I also enjoy spending time with my fiancée, Ashlyn, our dog, Nova, and family and friends.

I'm proud to be building my business back home in the Mitchell area and look forward to helping bring your next project to life!
